Ewa Kupiec has a rich history of performances at the world's leading festivals and with major orchestras, including the Munich Philharmonic, Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Royal Danish Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Leipzig Gewandhaus, and Orchestre de Paris. She collaborated with renowned conductors such as Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Marin Alsop, Neeme Järvi, Ingo Metzmacher, Xian Zhang, Sakari Oramo, Semyon Bychkov, Giancarlo Guerrero, Herbert Blomstedt, Krzysztof Penderecki, Lothar Zagrosek, Gilbert Varga, Christoph Poppen, Andrey Boreyko, and Marek Janowski. A particularly fruitful collaboration with Polish maestro Stanislaw Skrowaczewski resulted in performances worldwide and the joint recording of Chopin's piano concerti in 2003.

As a dedicated interpreter of contemporary music, Ewa Kupiec's notable achievements include the 2005 Berlin Konzerthaus performance of Schnittke's First Piano Concerto, marking the first performance of this work since 1964. This performance was released by Phoenix in 2008, along with other Schnittke works for piano and orchestra. Her recital and chamber music programs often feature contemporary works, with various composers dedicating pieces to her. The collaborative effort resulted in the release of the CD "Conception" in 2005. In 2014, she released four special recordings, including Andrzej Panufnik's piano concerto and Grażyna Bacewicz's piano quintet, both receiving prestigious awards.

Ewa Kupiec's extensive discography also includes works by Szymanowski (ECHO Klassik 1997) and Paderewski. Her recording of Władysław Szpilman's music for Sony gained recognition from the movie "The Pianist." Noteworthy releases include her 2007 recording of Janacek's solo works, "Żal" in 2010 featuring solo works by Chopin and Schubert, and a CD with solo works by Kodály and Enescu in cooperation with Deutschlandfunk in 2011 (Solaris).

An active contributor to the classical music community, Ewa Kupiec conducts masterclasses across Europe and serves as a jury member for renowned competitions, including ARD/Germany, Sydney/Australia, Busoni/Italy, Beethoven/Bonn-Germany, and Maj Lind/Finland.

Born in Duszniki-Zdroj, Poland, Ewa Kupiec studied in Katowice, the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, and at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her exceptional talent was recognized when she won the ARD Music Competition in 1992 in the duo piano/cello category.

Since autumn 2011, Ewa Kupiec has held the position of Professor for Piano at the Hanover University for Music, Drama, and Media. In July 2018, she was elected as a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
