Hello, my name is Michelle Hauenstein and I am one of the members of this year's jury. I am a very open-minded person and like to take a close look at things. I've been playing the piano for about 10 years and in my free time I like to go swimming, join the scouts or do things with my friends. When playing the piano or music in general, I find it fascinating to immerse myself in a new world. By playing the piano, I can not only express my feelings, I can also touch other people. I attach great importance to how you strike a piano key. You have to feel the key and let the sound of the key live on. It is also important to me how you shape a piece, maintain an arc of tension and play at different volumes and tempos.
