Jonathan Ng enjoyed watching the Vienna New Year's Concert from a young age and began playing the piano, followed by the violin, choir, and ensemble. At the age of 10, he was admitted to the talent program. Currently, he is studying piano with Irina Georgieva. He has won numerous first prizes at regional and national competitions as a soloist and chamber musician, including two first prizes with distinction at the Swiss Youth Music Competition, the 1st prize at the Steinway Piano Competition in Zurich, and the 1st prize at the Franz Schubert Piano Competition in Basel. Additionally, he was the 3rd prize winner at the international piano competition in Neuchâtel. Jonathan enjoys meeting musicians at festivals in Verbier, Gstaad, and Luzern. He has received invitations for performances and concerts, such as those from the Swiss Foundation for Young Musicians in Basel, the Herbst Helferei Festival in Zurich, the New Year's Concert in Vitznau, and the Schubertiade Concert in Basel. Apart from music, swimming in a competitive club brings joy and athleticism to Jonathan's life.
